Who We Are

Friends of the Knox County Public Library is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run organization dedicated to fostering a love of libraries, books, and reading through community outreach, advocacy, and support of the Knox County Public Library system and staff.

What We Do

Our members raise funds through book sales, membership dues, and donations. These funds support community outreach and programs not covered by the library’s budget. We advocate for our library and share our love of books and reading throughout Knox County.

How You Can Help

Friends depends on the generosity of our community. You can support our mission by becoming a member, making a financial gift, donating books, or by becoming one of the many dedicated volunteers who make our work happen.
